I think this is a different woman from Caroline Celestia Ingalls Swanzey whose famous sister wrote the “Little House” books. I could be wrong though. Either way, I can’t wait to read and learn from this woman.

Subject: lil Carrie Ingalls
Subject: lil Carrie Ingalls
My siblings and I used to watch Little House on the Prairie and knew there was an actual Ingalls family, here is Carrie's work. Too bad the TV show wasn't very realistic at all. None of the period shows are, which is a shame. With the amount of information available to us in this age we should be able to construct a decent and realistic picture of history but TV and film never do! anyway, this title is okay, it is a lesson plan of the rudimentary sort, explaining the differences of textiles like cashmere vs silk and so on. Pattern for the most simple of aprons, stitch illustrations and how-to's. Nothing ground-breaking or novel, typical housekeeping book of it's age.
